Role Overview
Senior Back Office Engineer with solid experience in Core CS Network operations and maintenance to join a strategic NOC support project.
Work Type: On-site or Remote (Outside Madrid)
Availability: 24x7 Support (on-call and night shifts)
What you will do
* Provide 2nd line operations and maintenance support for the Core CS network.
* Proactively analyze and propose service and KPI improvements.
* Lead technical taskforces and coordinate complex, multi-department projects.
* Act as the central technical point of contact for critical incidents and major changes.
* Implement network changes following ITIL processes.
* Coach and mentor junior engineers to strengthen team expertise.
* Participate in emergency calls alongside the Incident Manager for issue resolution coordination.
What you are like
* Prior experience working on the MasMovil Network (preferably within a NOC) is highly valued.
* Minimum 3 years in Core Network maintenance and operations, ideally in the MM NOC in Romania.
* Experience with ICT operations and maintenance support.
* English: Minimum level C1.

* Protocols: HTTP(S), SOAP, IPSEC, DNS(SEC), Radius, Diameter, TCP/IP, SCTP, SS7, FTP, SSH, SNMP, iSCSI, WAP, MMS.
* Database Administration: Oracle, LDAP, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
* Unix / Linux Administration: Solaris 8/9/10, OpenBSD, RedHat, Ubuntu, Debian.
* Virtualization Suites: Solaris Containers, VMware ESXi.
* Platforms: SDM, IMS, Core CS, Call Server, Softswitch, Interco.
* Core CS Network Elements: HLR, HSS, Switches, SLF, S-CSCF, P-CSCF, I-CSCF, AS, OSA, CAMEL, MRF, MGW, MGCF, BGCF, SGW, Softswitch, etc. (vendors: Nokia, Italtel, Huawei).
* Services: Residential Voice, Mobile Voice, VoLTE, VoWiFi, Enterprise Voice.
