As a Technical Application Scientist (m/f/d) – Laboratory Equipment, you'll work directly with researchers, applying your scientific knowledge to solve practical challenges, influence product use, and support laboratories EMEA - wide.

We are currently recruiting for a
Technical Application Scientist (m/f/d) – Laboratory Equipment
A Day In The Life
- Provide technical support for Thermo Fisher Scientific Laboratory Equipment via phone, email, chat, and web
- Resolve complex technical questions by leveraging internal experts and resources
- Document customer interactions in CRM systems to support quality and continuous improvement
- Contribute to knowledge bases, training materials, and internal technical resources
- Stay current through ongoing product training and continuing education
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects and team initiatives
- Occasional travel may be required
Keys To Success
- Master's degree in Life Sciences, or Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of hands-on laboratory experience in electrochemistry
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
- Prior customer-facing experience is a strong advantage
- Demonstrated ability to quickly absorb, understand, and apply complex technical information
- Natural problem-solver with strong curiosity, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
- Comfortable working with digital tools, including CRM systems, databases, and standard office applications
- Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment, particularly electrochemical instrumentation such as pH meters, conductivity meters, and related analytical devices
