We are seeking an Accounting and Reporting Controller to join our Finance and Administration team at Applus+IDIADA. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with audit background to develop their career in a dynamic, international environment while contributing to financial excellence and ERP transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support monthly and quarterly closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standardsDrive the implementation and optimization of reporting in the new ERP system, including process design, testing, and continuous improvementPrepare and review financial statements and management reports for internal and external stakeholdersAct as key liaison with external auditors during interim and year-end audits, coordinating deliverables and documentationEnsure compliance with Spanish GAAP (PGC) and support IFRS reporting requirements for group consolidation
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related fieldMaster's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Auditing is highly valuedAdditional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA) are a plus
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in audit (Big 4 experience preferred)Strong knowledge of Spanish Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (PGC)
Language Skills
English: Advanced level required (C1 or equivalent)German: Any level is highly valuedAdditional languages are a plus
