Are you our new Business Control Analyst?
As a Business Control Analyst at Intrum where Location is flexible you will play a crucial role in operating in an agile and challenging environment and that can drive change and embrace new challenges to move their area of responsibility forward.
The position is part of the Global team function and will report into the Business Control Manager. You are expected to be a self-starter that will contribute to increase efficiency, improve the outcome and maximize the value the team generates to the organization.
What will you do:
- Support the monthly closings and quarterly reporting including reconciliations and data checks from Business Control side for both markets and group functions
- Support management reporting and analysis, including monthly review meetings with markets/functions, analyzing actuals vs budget, supporting business with identifying gaps to increase accuracy of forecasting
- Ensure robust processes following up on financial targets and deviations including the execution of cost containment initiatives
- Support the budget processes for the area of responsibility in coordination with the Strategy & Planning team
- Use internal systems for data gathering, preparation of existing and development of new internal performance reports for senior management
What we’re looking for:
- A degree in Finance, Economics or similar
- +5 years of experience in accounting or controlling
- Experience at Group level at an international company strongly preferred
- Outstanding attention to details and strong analytical skills
- Experience in working with large data sets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with Reporting tools
- Fluent in English, written and verbal
