Provides expertise and systems support in developing and enhancing business systems to provide new or improved products to clients or effective planning, reporting, and analysis tools to internal functions.
Essential Functions
* Under general direction, formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on user needs and a solid understanding of applicable business systems and requirements.
* Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems, considering equipment capacity, limitations, operating time, and desired results.
* Analyzes business and user needs, documents requirements, and translates them into proper system requirement specifications.
* Guides and advises less-experienced Business Systems Analysts.
* Works at the highest technical level of most phases of systems analysis, considering the business implications of applying technology to current and future business environments.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent experience (Required).
* At least five (5) years of systems analysis experience (Required).
* Experience in a hospital setting, analyzing and documenting client requirements related to health information systems, including clinical and RCM workflows.
* Knowledge of business-wide applications (e.g., third-party software, internal operational applications) or IQVIA client-facing applications and products.
* Ability to understand client requirements as well as underlying infrastructure applications, systems, and processes.
* Thorough knowledge of IQVIA data and current systems.
