Overview We are looking for a professional to join our client’s plant team, a leader in its sector, reporting directly to the Plant Director. The mission of this role is to drive the operational excellence program, ensuring short-term performance delivery while building long-term capabilities and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities Lead the deployment of manufacturing excellence initiatives across the plant, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and integration at all organizational levels.
Actively collaborate with other production sites worldwide, contributing to the global development of the excellence model and sharing learnings and best practices.
Promote a results-driven and continuous improvement culture, coaching and guiding cross-functional teams to acquire the necessary skills and capabilities.
Act as a role model in upholding core principles of safety, quality, and environmental sustainability.
Be an active member of the plant leadership team, influencing strategic decisions, operational priorities, and achievement of business objectives.
Drive projects focused on process optimization, loss reduction, and efficiency improvement in collaboration with plant teams.
Design and sustain a comprehensive performance management system to align team goals with organizational objectives, track results, perform root cause analysis, and ensure corrective actions.
Coordinate process trials and new initiatives, ensuring structured planning, effective execution, and full compliance with operational standards.
Education and Competencies University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
High level of English, both written and spoken (testing will be required).
Strong ability to influence the organization and motivate high-performing teams.
Excellent communication, change management, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.
Experience in international and cross-functional environments.
High adaptability, learning agility, and self-awareness.
Experience At least 3 years in industrial leadership roles, with proven success in driving cultural transformation.
Over 3 years leading excellence programs and operational transformation projects.
Preferably experience in FMCG or pharmaceutical sectors, particularly in highly automated plants.
Demonstrated expertise in Lean implementation and cultural transformation programs.
Proven ability to train and support all organizational levels, from senior leadership to shop floor operators.
Experience leading cross-functional teams in cultural change programs, delivering sustainable and measurable results.
Strong knowledge of problem-solving methodologies and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
Skilled at coordinating impactful business initiatives with diverse teams.
Emotionally intelligent leadership, effectively managing resistance and fostering motivation.
Ability to drive the dissemination of achievements and best practices across multiple sites.
