Contemporary Star Energy is a joint venture created by Stellantis and CATL to advance affordable and sustainable electric mobility in Europe. Bringing together general automotive leadership and next-generation battery innovation, we lead the evolution of cleaner and smarter mobility. Our large-scale, carbon-neutral battery manufacturing project contributes to the European electrification ecosystem and supports the regional supply chain for battery production.Strategically located next to Stellantis´ plant in Zaragoza, Spain, the Gigafactory will produce next-generation lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries with a capacity of up to 50 GWh.

We are looking for a
Sales & Customer Relations Expert
to join our Commercial organization in an industrial manufacturing environment.This role is key to ensuring strong customer relationships, operational performance, and contractual compliance during the serial production phase.
Role mission
Act as the primary interface between the company and its customers, ensuring a strong and strategic customer relationship. Drive operational excellence by managing quality topics, delivery performance, order management processes, and contractual compliance throughout the serial phase. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to implement corrective actions, optimize costs, and ensure agreed service levels, while maintaining transparency and efficiency in all processes.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Act as the main point of contact for key manufacturing customers.Manage quality and delivery performance during the serial phase, including follow-up and negotiation of related topics.Coordinate the implementation of countermeasures with internal and external stakeholders to address delivery or quality deviations.Lead the definition and implementation of the Order Management process, in coordination with Finance and Logistics teams.Monitor amortization mechanisms and ensure proper tracking, payment follow-up, and price updates in purchase orders.Lead the implementation of technical or commercial changes impacting cost or pricing, including validation and capture in purchase orders.Manage price indexation mechanisms according to agreed periods and contractual frameworks.Organize customer visits and audits, coordinating resources, agenda, and logistics.Prepare offers for samples and aftermarket demands, including calculation of additional costs.Lead regular operational meetings with customers focused on planning, stock, and deliveries.Support contractual discussions and clauses in coordination with internal stakeholders.Ensure compliance with service agreements and escalate critical incidents when required.Monitor media coverage and prepare reports for the Communications Manager.Collaborate on digital campaigns and ensure brand consistency across platforms.Provide operational support for event logistics and communication materials.
Your profile and qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred. A degree in Economics and/or Business Administration will also be valued.High level of English (C1) and Spanish required. Additional languages are a plus, particularly Chinese.8+ years of experience in automotive, supply chain, or customer management within an industrial manufacturing environment.Experience working with suppliers and customers in manufacturing environments.3+ years of experience leading complex projects or multidisciplinary teams.Availability to travel to manufacturing plants in Europe and Asia.
Knowledge & skills:
Advanced B2B customer management and international negotiation skills.Strong knowledge of industrial processes, logistics, and cost control.Experience in claims management, cost changes, and price adjustment mechanisms.Strong financial analysis skills.Solid experience with ERP systems (e.G., SAP) and advanced Excel.Strong understanding of order management processes (order entry, fulfillment, change management, backlog control).Strong intercultural communication skills and ability to work in matrix organizations.Strong interest in or background in advanced industrial technologies.
