THE ROLE
The Plant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations at the Gallarta plant, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, productivity, and cost targets. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), working Monday to Friday at the production site in Gallarta.
1. Supervise and coordinate production activities and personnel (50 employees) to achieve daily manufacturing targets.
2. Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety, and environmental regulations.
3. Monitor process and equipment performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
4. Coordinate with MRP, Technical, Warehouse, HR, and Maintenance departments to ensure smooth operations.
5. Manage operational incidents, reporting deviations and proposing corrective actions.
6. Support internal and external audits (quality, safety, environment).
7. Train and guide production staff in procedures, safety, and best practices.
8. Maintain accurate production, incident, and KPI reports.
THE PROFILE
9. Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
10. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the chemical industry.
11. Strong command of English (C1 level, spoken and written).
12. Proficient in ERP systems (SAP or similar) and Microsoft Office tools (Excel mandatory).
13. Experience applying Lean manufacturing tools will be highly valued.
14. Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills
