Mission

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving commercial growth across the European market for industrial optic and photonic solutions. The role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic customer relationships, and expanding the company’s presence within targeted industrial sectors. The position plays a key role in building long-term customer relationships and supporting the company’s international growth strategy.

Responsibilities

Business Development and Market Expansion

* Identify and develop new business opportunities within industrial optic and photonic technology markets across Europe.
* Develop and manage relationships with industrial customers integrating optic and photonic technologies into their manufacturing and automation environments.
* Develop commercial relationships with industrial companies, machine manufacturers, and strategic partners.
* Support market penetration activities and identify new industrial applications and target sectors.

Customer and Commercial Management

* Manage the commercial development of strategic accounts across European markets.
* Understand customer technical requirements and coordinate closely with internal technical teams to develop suitable industrial solutions.
* Prepare and present commercial proposals, negotiate agreements, and support contract discussions with customers.
* Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term account development.

Market Intelligence and Commercial Strategy

* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and technological developments within industrial optic and photonic sectors.
* Provide commercial feedback and market insights to support strategic decision-making.
* Support the definition and execution of regional business development plans and growth initiatives.

Reporting and Cross-Functional Collaboration

* Maintain accurate sales pipeline reporting, forecasting, and CRM activity tracking.
* Coordinate closely with technical, operations, and leadership teams to ensure successful project execution and customer support.
* Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and customer meetings across Europe.

Required Qualifications

* University degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.
* Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience in international B2B business development within industrial technology environments.
* Strong experience selling industrial optic and photonic technologies within industrial markets.
* Solid understanding of industrial manufacturing environments and industrial automation applications.
* Professional proficiency in English and Spanish.
* Strong commercial, negotiation, and relationship management capabilities.
* Availability for frequent international travel across Europe.

Preferred Experience

* Experience working with industrial optic and photonic systems and manufacturing technologies.
* Exposure to industrial automation, precision manufacturing, or machine-building sectors.
* Experience managing multinational industrial customers and cross-border commercial activities.
* Familiarity with CRM platforms, sales reporting tools, and structured business development methodologies.
