Experteer Overview As an Associate in our Climate Venture Capital Fund, you contribute to investment analysis, modelling, and monitoring of climate tech investments. You work independently on financial models, underwrite opportunities, and prepare concise investment materials for committees. You engage with investee teams during and after investments and help advance ESG initiatives and portfolio analytics. You collaborate with senior management to sustain disciplined risk management and create long-term value, including fundraising and investor reporting.Compensaciones / Beneficios
- Conduct detailed investment analysis and underwriting with financial modelling, cash flow and scenario planning
- Prepare high-quality investment materials and reports for committees and portfolio reviews
- Review due diligence (financial, technical, ESG, legal) and integrate findings into underwriting
- Post-investment monitoring, portfolio management and investor reporting with emphasis on data analytics
- Assess technology differentiation, scalability, and barriers to entry across hardware and software climate tech
- Identify investment subthemes and originate new opportunities within ClimateTech
- Engage with management teams, co-investors and advisors representing the fund
- Perform ESG and impact analysis to support sustainability initiatives and metrics
- Contribute to Investment Committee materials and portfolio strategy discussions
- Participate in fundraising activities and investor meetings
- Collaborate with senior management on new investment strategies and thematic priorities

- 3–5 years in buy-side venture, financial modelling or accounting/transaction services (required)
- Ability to value target companies (required)
- Proven track record in transaction analysis and detailed financial model work (required)
- Independently handle NDAs and engagement letters (required)
- Proficient in writing professional reports and presentations in English (required)
- Exposure to climate technology or infrastructure investments is a strong plus (required)
