We are partnering with an international healthcare organisation seeking a Strategic Planning & PMO Director to drive strategic execution across the business.
This is a senior leadership role designed to strengthen the company's strategic planning capabilities and execution model, ensuring that corporate priorities are translated into clear initiatives and delivered with impact across the organisation.
About the Role
Reporting to the Corporate Services Director, the Strategic Planning & PMO Director will lead both Strategic Planning and PMO, acting as a key partner in shaping, structuring and executing the company's strategic roadmap.
The role combines long-term strategic thinking with strong industrial execution, moving beyond traditional project management to drive organisational alignment, prioritisation and delivery discipline.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading corporate strategic planning processes and supporting the definition of strategic priorities
* Translating strategy into a structured and prioritised portfolio of initiatives
* Governing execution of strategic programmes including NPD, lifecycle management and cross-functional transformation initiatives
* Ensuring alignment between strategic ambition, operational capabilities and resource allocation
* Providing executive-level insight and reporting to senior leadership
* Strengthening project governance, methodologies and execution standards across the organisation
* Acting as a senior change leader and trusted partner to business leaders
* Leading and developing the PMO team and overseeing corporate SAP Master Data governance
* Ensuring initiatives deliver measurable business and organisational value within a regulated healthcare environment
Profile
We are looking for a senior leader combining strong industry experience with proven ownership of strategic planning and execution .
The ideal candidate will bring:
* Solid industry experience in strategic planning, business transformation, PMO leadership or strategy execution roles
* Demonstrated experience participating in or leading corporate strategic planning processes
* Experience operating within complex industrial or healthcare environments
* Strong ability to bridge strategy definition and operational execution
* Previous consulting experience is highly valued as complementary exposure, particularly when followed by industry leadership roles
* Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
* University degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business Administration or related fields
* Project Management training or certification is a plus
* Fluency in English and Spanish
