We are part of Vodafone Business Product Engineering and we are looking for a **Platform Engineering Manager** within our Mobile Private Networks, Cloud and Edge Computing portfolios.
**What you bring**:
- Over 10 years experience in creating and running an engineering for real-time, highly scalable platforms
- Proven experience in delivery and tuning of complex technologies and complex real time, highly transactional, retail, distributed architecture stacks
- Over 5 years of experience in multi-tier delivery structures (e.g. off-shore, on-shore, multi-vendor). This includes execution, sourcing and commercial contracts
- Proven strong leadership to shape and build teams, create the vision and lead the team towards that vision.
- Ability to comfortably work in a matrix organization
- Interact and manage executives in multiple markets at the same time.
- Ability to simply articulate complex technical problems.
- Ability to represent IT in multiple Steercos adding value by bridging business and technology
- Multiple year experience in channels/digital area
- Multiple year experience in delivery of distributed architecture solutions
- Multi-year development, operations and/or architecture experience in the past
- Proven technical and people leadership
- Proven resiliency to cope with high pressure situations (e.g. incidents and releases)
**Main skills**:
- Portal, API, OSS, data and analytics experience
- Agile development and devsecops methods and practices
- Balancing the complex needs of the different business stakeholders
- Senior Stakeholder management
- Define and manage change
