Offer Description
* Implement formal training activities and coordinate continuing education activities within the framework of the UPF-BMAT AI and Music Chair.
* Conduct research for the development of new AI methodologies based on deep learning to support music composition, production and performance.
* Development of software that implements the results of the research.
* Improve existing datasets and create new ones useful for deep learning models.
* Coordinate and supervise dissemination and tech transfer activities.
* Not have been dismissed from service by disciplinary proceedings from any public administration, nor be disqualified by final judgment from performing public functions. In the case of being a national of another State, not be disqualified or in an equivalent situation, nor have been subjected to disciplinary sanction or equivalent that prevents, in their State, access to public employment under the same terms.

Additional Requirements:
* Doctorate in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields with a specialization in music technology.
* Research experience in music technology, especially related to the fields of sound and music understanding and sound and music information retrieval.
* Experience in software development tasks related to sound and music, especially web technologies.
* Experience in IT systems administration tasks, especially for deploying web applications and using computing clusters for research tasks.
* Experience in managing large data collections.
* Teaching and supervision experience with Master's and PhD students.
* Experience in organizing and coordinating research dissemination activities.
Selection process
* Academic background: 0-20 points
* Professional experience / Adaptation to the proposed profile: 0-70 points.
