We are looking for a candidate who can contribute to lean manufacturing initiatives, monitor production quality, and support data-driven improvements across processes and plants.
Responsibilities
* Apply lean manufacturing tools to achieve targets fixed by management
* Monitor the quality of output to identify or discard re-manufactured faulty products
* Maintain accurate daily production records so that manufacturing performance can be analyzed
* Design, implement and maintain systems to collect and analyze data for critical product and process parameters
* Use data to identify process losses
* Work with line management to prioritize improvement opportunities
* Eliminate or reduce (prioritized) losses through making process or work system changes
* Participate in the daily direction-setting process (SIM) – report results, flag issues and request resources
* Own critical daily management systems, e.G. centre-lining (run-to-target)
* Share and reapply learning across processes, modules and plants
* Prepare and give training on process/equipment changes
What you’ll do

What makes you a good fit
* A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or in a related field
* At least internship/1 year of experience in a process engineer role and in an industrial environment
* Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to engage and lead a cross-functional team
* Proven ability to learn rapidly
* Strong communication skills
* Strong change management skills that can persuade and lead with conviction
* Ability to mature, grow and develop within the company
* Fluent English
