**About the Role**
- Directly manage the entire security operations at PowerCo's site in Sagunto from initial construction phases through to managing the running security organisation of the factory.
- Developing, implementing, and managing security policies and procedures to ensure the security and protection of all employees, assets, and sensitive information within the facility.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams, such as HR and Safety and Fire Protection.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive security strategy aligned with the company's goals and industry standards.
- Oversee, supervise and control/audit the security service supplier.
- Conduct risk assessments and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to identify security vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate measures.
- Oversee the design and implementation of physical security measures, including access control systems, surveillance cameras, and security personnel deployment.
- Conduct regularly audits on security processes, addressing thefts, rule violations, and other breaches in accordance with PowerCo's standards.
- Coordinate emergency response and evacuation procedures, ensuring the safety of employees in various scenarios.
- Implement and enforce information security policies to safeguard sensitive data and intellectual property.
- Collaborate with IT department for the onboarding of the new employees, and to process the acccess to the workplace to employees and relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct regular drills and simulations to test the effectiveness of security protocols and emergency response plans.
- Lead investigations into security incidents, breaches, or violations, and recommend corrective actions.
- Establish and maintain relationships with local law enforcement and emergency services to facilitate swift response in case of incidents.
- Stay informed about relevant local and state regulations related to security and ensure the company's compliance.
- Work closely with regulatory agencies to maintain necessary certifications and approvals.
- Develop and execute a Valencia-centric security strategy aligned with overarching company guidelines, ensuring ongoing effectiveness and tracking success via defined KPIs.
- Oversee crisis management procedures in tandem with the local management and the Central Corporate Security team.
- Foster a positive culture of security awareness and training.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Spain's Director de Seguridad Certificate or equivalent or alternatively,
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public government security roles or police work.
- A Master's in International Relations or a related specialization could be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in personnel leadership and motivating team members, methodological competence, and dealing with security incidents.
- Skills in crisis management and fostering a security culture
- Mandatory to have proficiency level of Spanish and English
- Proven experience in security management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of physical and information security principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards in Spain.
