About The Role The role of Business Development Director is to grow the business across the region, taking charge of building relationships and business opportunities with key customers, mostly international mobile operators with a strong foothold in the European market. This position is key to our organization and offers the opportunity to sit in the driving seat of our business growth, making a tremendous impact on the overall trajectory of Mondia in this region. Responsibilities include: Develop, implement and own a customer-centric business development and market growth strategy for increasing sales and profits; ensuring consistent, profitable growth in revenue Generate new business, identifying and developing new customers, and meeting with clients to close deals Generate revenue across all verticals of our business, handling the entire sales lifecycle Identify and set ambitious revenue targets for the region, accomplishing short and long-term results through achievement of KPIs Develop and cultivate deep relationships with senior management at clients' Business Unit Head and C-level to upsell new solutions and seek better revenue/margin realization Identify and understand trends within client departments, the overall industry, and competition Proactively provide smart client research and industry-specific information Pipeline and revenue management/forecasting on a regular basis (weekly, monthly, quarterly) Collaborate effectively with internal and external customers on business-related support activities, e.g., design and implementation of differentiated and profitable solutions, troubleshooting/issue resolution Act as a Brand Ambassador and represent the company at community events and other business-related meetings, promoting the company’s products and services Attract, develop, and retain top talent to support local commercial operations as the business grows Requirements The ideal candidate will be an exceptionally dynamic and driven individual with an extensive and autonomous approach to business development. They should demonstrate excellence in service delivery and problem-solving, with the ability to break down complex information into understandable and actionable items. Experience in the mobile digital entertainment and mobile payment industries is a distinct advantage. Other qualifications include: Proven track record of business development experience, ideally within a Digital Content/Technology, Information Service Provider, or Mobile Digital Entertainment/Payments organization Excellent network of contacts within the Telecom Operator landscape across Europe, especially Germany, France, Spain, and the UK Background in digital technologies, video, games, payments, or programmatic platforms is a plus Strong communication skills with a client-centric approach to solution-selling and the ability to influence and articulate value propositions based on client understanding A proven record of structuring and managing complex negotiations to successful closure and execution Excellent analytical skills with a solid understanding of revenue forecasting and P&L management Ability to travel regionally and internationally Benefits Hybrid Office - 13 WFH days per quarter Lunch vouchers Flat hierarchies and short decision-making paths Cooperation in a highly motivated, young, international team spread across 3 continents An attractive location in a creative and modern office in Madrid J-18808-Ljbffr
