Chemours is seeking a Junior Entity Accountant based in Asturias, Spain office to join our growing Entity Accounting and Reporting Team. This position will be in charge to assists to other Senior accountants will be as responsible of diverse accounting processes and active participation in the 10K and statutory audits reporting directly to the APAC/Latam Entity Accounting and Reporting Team Leaders. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: Working closely with Senior Accountants of Entity Accounting & Reporting Team and BPO to ensure accurate and timely delivery of local and global financial statements. Assist in monthly financial statements fluctuations review and accounts reconciliations in accordance with corporate policies. Participation in the month-end and year-end closing activities related to the Entities assigned as a JR Entity Accountant working closely with a cross functional team. Oversee the preparation of financial information related to external audit activities of the Entities assigned as Accounting Analyst in compliance with Corporate and local policies. Participate in various projects and research during the month when requested. Prescribe methods for delivering accounting data for various non-standard reports and statements. The following is _required_ for this role: Degree in Finance or Accounting, chartered accountant (or equivalent). 2 years work experience in accounting closing and/or reporting processes. Strong proficiency in standard office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), with a good understanding of computerized work environments. Ability to adapt to relate and connect processes, adaptability to recurrent changes and fast grasping knowledge. Self-motivated and work in an independent way and managing multiple tasks end to end. Language Skills: English proficiency. Should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to obtain the desired results. Experience in working in international, multicultural environments. The following is _preferred_ for this role: Experience with SAP R/3 is considered an advantage.
