We are seeking a predoctoral researcher to join the Diabetes Immunology Group and carry out research into type 1 diabetes over a period of four months. This position involves completing the final experimental phase of a competitive research project.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
The tasks to be carried out include :
* Transfection of microRNAs (miRNAs) into immune cells
* Immune cell phenotyping
* Measurement of plasma cytokines
* Data collection and analysis
The candidate will contribute to experimental work related to immunological studies in the context of type 1 diabetes.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
* Holding a degree in Biotechnology or a related field, and a Master's degree in Biomedicine or related disciplines.
* Willingness to work in the field of diabetes immunology
* Skills such as organizational ability, punctuality, scientific motivation, and scientific integrity will be valued
* Proven experience in immunochemical techniques, lymphocyte cultures, and the functional effects of miRNAs. An excellent level of English must be demonstrated
* Specific requirements established by the call or grant, which may not be considered, in any case, as a discriminatory element.
* Previous experience in Immunology and international experience (Master’s and/or research stays) will be valued

* Gross annual remuneration based on experience and skills, distributed in 12 payments.
