Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the R&D; team in the development of new projects:
Operate manual lathes and milling machines for prototype creation and part reprocessing.Assemble and develop prototypes, applying analytical skills to suggest solutions and alternatives.Conduct tests and trials on prototypes and existing products.
- Work jointly with R&D; and Quality departments on the industrialization of new products and the improvement of existing ones:
Assist in the development and assembly of machinery and tooling to enhance manufacturing processes.
- Transfer knowledge and assembly processes of new products to the production line.
- Support the study, improvement, and troubleshooting of production issues related to existing products.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in operating lathes, milling machines, drills, and other manufacturing equipment.
- Solid understanding of materials and manufacturing processes.
- Skilled in manual assembly work.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication.
- Experience liaising with suppliers.
- Intermediate proficiency in English.
Personal Attributes
- Proactive and self-motivated.
- Problem-solving attitude with a focus on resolution.
- Strong team player with effective communication skills.
- Ability to teach and transfer knowledge to others.
Preferred Educational Background
Candidates with multidisciplinary technical training are preferred, including but not limited to:
- Basic Professional Certificate in Metal Elements Manufacturing
- Technician in Machining
- Higher Technician in Mechanical Design and Manufacturing
