Do you have experience to managing a team of finance specialist to ensure effective financial management in the subsidiary as well as effective support for decision making? You may be the new Senior Manager, Finance & Accounting of an International industrial company located in the province of Alicante.
**Your key task and responsibilities will include**:
- Manage a team of finance professionals in a subsidiary to ensure that finance and control activities are completed accurately and on time.
- Direct and monitor a variety of finance and control activities at the plant to ensure that the subsidiary’s financial resources are managed in accordance with principles and comply with all relevant regulations, laws, and standards and group accounting principles and instructions. These include e.g. accounting, reporting, tax, treasury, credit risk and controlling activities.
- Manage, analyze, interpret and report financial information for and manufacturing use and advise on the financial implications and consequences of business decisions. Participate in accounting.
- Analyze financial and other relevant information to inform key strategic decisions in a plant.
- Coordinate and participate in the monthly accounting closing process, plant reporting and analysis.
- Responsible for preparation of weekly cash flow forecast, monthly financial projections and annual planning.
- Control and analysis of site’s fixed cost and working capital, as well as of inventory controls and cost accounting
- Approve the payment of accounts payable and payroll.
**Requirements**:
- At least Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, preferably Master’s.
- Experience at least of 5 years in finance & accounting
- Leadership skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Experience of the accounting of a legal company, ie. full P/L and balance sheet
- Proficiency in accounting and finance software
- Other skills Critical thinking, Problem solving, Business and industrial knowledge, and Understanding of the organization's goals.
