About the Role Radlink has a new opportunity for a Business Growth Manager.
Reporting to Chief Executive Officer this role is responsible for driving growth and profitability across Radlink's high-margin sister business lines: Radlink Rentals, Comwide Radio Services, GenZ, and Frenchline Industries. This role supports the individual business managers in leveraging synergies across Radlink and Epiroc while also expanding their unique market sectors to provide resilience against industry downturns.
The Business Support Manager owns the combined Profit & Loss (P&L) of these business lines and works closely with internal stakeholders including the Head of Operations, Business Controller, SHEQ, and HR, to ensure compliance, accurate resource forecasting, and strategic alignment.
The role also identifies operational and technological gaps that may hinder growth and collaborates with the Account Management team and Project Delivery teams to improve delivery efficiency, quality, and profitability.
The key responsibilities include:
Support managers of Radlink Rentals, Comwide Radio Services, GenZ, and Frenchline Industries in achieving growth and profitability targets
Leverage synergies across Radlink and Epiroc to unlock new opportunities and efficiencies
Promote diversification and resilience by expanding into varied market sectors
Monitor financial performance and work with individual managers to optimise profitability
Monitor utilisation and functional costs maximizing profitability
Identify and address operational inefficiencies or constraints impacting growth
Collaborate with each business to identify capacity and technology gaps and develop strategies to address them
Partner with the Account Management and Project Delivery teams during quoting and delivery phases
Conduct lessons learned reviews to identify opportunities for operational improvement
Develop strategies to reduce delivery schedules, enhance quality, and increase profitability
Comply with Radlink HSEQ Policy, including reporting all near misses and incidents promptly and accurately, following established procedures
Support management in contributing to a zero-harm safety culture through adherence to standards and guidelines
Promote and maintain a positive culture that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and professional conduct.
Skills and Experience To be successful in this position, we are seeking candidates with:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, or related discipline (desirable)
Postgraduate qualifications in Management, Leadership, or Strategy (desirable)
Proven experience in business operations, management, or growth across multiple business units
Strong financial acumen with P&L ownership and performance analysis experience
Experience identifying and implementing growth strategies across diverse sectors
Track record in cross-functional collaboration and operational improvement
Excellent stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration skills
Strategic and commercial mindset with a focus on profitability and sustainable growth
Strong understanding of compliance, resource planning, and operational efficiency
Collaborative, communicative, and influential with strong leadership presence
Proactive, solutions-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement
Adaptable and resilient in a dynamic business environment
High integrity and accountability in decision-making
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and business reporting tools
Sound interpersonal skills and ability to effectively liaise with others
Willingness to travel as required.
