The role designed for you
The inbound raw material process is crucial in ensuring that a company has the materials to operate efficiently and meet customer demand. It focuses on the inflow of raw materials and goods into a facility. It is a role of great importance to our supply chain – raw material inbound – and must ensure correct delivery times from suppliers, as well as the internal management that affects production flows.
Your Responsibilities
* Analyse the raw materials stock, orders to the suppliers, sales forecast and consumptions to guarantee stocks at the target level in line with the company policies, interacting with internal and external functions to guarantee compliance with that level.
* Manage the arrivals of the materials by maintaining the right balance between the inbound of materials and the demand for finished products.
* Prepare and issue purchase orders to suppliers and confirm delivery times.
* Monitor the order’s progress and ensure it is delivered on time and in the required quantity.
* Review purchase prices with actual tariff and verify invoices to ensure they match the purchase order terms.
* Maintain ongoing communication with the supplier to ensure a mutually beneficial relationship.
* Consider analysis of the production program by identifying any shortage or surplus of raw material in advance to avoid negative impact on stocks and on the coaters.
* Collaborate with Planning to ensure a schedule aligned with the availability of the raw materials;
monitor and implement performance KPIs in line with company standards;
interact with Planning,Procurement, R&D, Finance to achieve the set goals.
The Attitudes And Skills We’re Looking For
* Experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically in supply chain.
* Related Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience).
* Experience or studies in production/manufacturing areas.
* Autonomous and a team player;
stable, dynamic, energetic, hardworking, and eager for improvement.
* Analytical and planning skills.
* Proficient in Spanish and English.
