Senior Engineer Grid Code Compliance & Testing Location: Sarriguren, ES, 31621 Responsibilities - Ensuring the grid code compliance of Nordex products with end-to-end mentality - Analyzing and evaluating Grid Code requirements and standards, ensuring that there is no requirement without a test case - Transferring and translating Grid Code requirements to the software development process by abstracting software requirements and test cases as a member of an agile software development process - Developing internal product specifications for Grid Code compliance and supporting the Grid Code compliance and Grid connection within sales and project phase - Defining test plans for Grid Code compliance and quality assurance on wind farm, wind turbine and component level - Performing, evaluating and documenting Grid Code compliance tests, analysing test data - Specifying new functions and features to gain, maintain and optimise Grid Code compliance on wind farm and wind turbine level - Shaping and clarifying Grid Code requirements within working groups, committees and direct exchange with utilities and customers - Having a clear picture and deep understanding of the capabilities of the Nordex products to be able to rate Grid Code compliance - Optimizing the processes within Grid Code compliance Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or similar fields - At least 3 years of experience in a similar role - Advanced English level (C1-C2).
