Key Responsibilities
Perform daily business analysis, working closely with Middle Office to review results, identify discrepancies, communicate issues, and propose improvements. Prepare and distribute reports to relevant trading desks.
Complete P&L reporting by incorporating all remaining line items to produce accurate month-end and year-end forecasts. Ensure alignment with accounting close processes.
Identify key KPIs and value drivers to enhance transparency and understanding of business performance.
Support the budgeting process across different entities, contributing to budget preparation and assisting in the overall planning cycle.
Participate in the analysis and presentation of corporate requests and business cases.
Analyze and review variances to provide insight into business performance, ensuring findings are reflected in departmental reporting (Budget Review, flash reports, forecasts, etc.).
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Engineering.
Languages: Fluent English (high level required)
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office suite; advanced Excel skills are essential. Experience with Power BI is required; SQL and Allegro are a plus. Ability to manage and analyze large datasets.
Experience: 3–5 years of experience in Management Control, preferably within the Oil & Gas sector. Exposure to Trading activities and financial derivatives is highly desirable.
Soft Skills: Strong adaptability to changing business environments and requirements. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex information.
