Lead the technology that keeps trains safe across Europe and beyond.
At Siemens Mobility Spain, we're revolutionizing railway signaling with cutting‑edge ERTMS systems, and we need a visionary Delivery Manager to orchestrate the engineering excellence that powers our most ambitious projects.
About Siemens Mobility Spain
Siemens Mobility Spain is a leader in intelligent transport solutions, delivering state‑of‑the‑art ERTMS (European Rail Traffic Management System) technology that automatically protects train movement, prevents collisions, and enables safe, efficient railway operations across national and international markets. For over 160 years, Siemens Mobility has been shaping the future of mobility—and we're just getting started.
Your mission in our team
As ERTMS On‑board Delivery Manager, you’ll take ownership of delivering complete ERTMS subsystem solutions for Main Line projects, both nationally and internationally. Reporting to the Technical Project Leader, you’ll lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams through every phase of the project lifecycle—from requirements analysis and design through commissioning and beyond. You’ll ensure that hardware and software specifications, configurations, and implementations meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance. This is your opportunity to work on transformative railway projects while enjoying flexibility, autonomy, and a genuine work‑life balance.
Challenges that await
- Lead end‑to‑end ERTMS delivery activities across one or more signalling projects, ensuring complete subsystem solutions.
- Conduct comprehensive requirements analysis at ERTMS subsystem level to define and deliver the exact solution needed.
- Coordinate all roles and disciplines contributing to ERTMS delivery, fostering seamless collaboration across teams.
- Create and maintain detailed ERTMS delivery project plans, aligning milestones with the Technical Project Leader.
- Monitor and control ERTMS delivery budgets, ensuring execution stays within allocated resources.
- Track progress, manage risks, and drive timely delivery of all project phases.
- Participate actively in all phases of hardware and software ERTMS application engineering: requirements specification, implementation, testing, commissioning, and warranty support.
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation meeting project requirements and applicable regulations (CENELEC standards, V‑life Cycle models).
- Ensure compliance with railway failsafe technology and processes for manual or automatic train protection.
- Collaborate with bidding teams and key stakeholders to ensure technical solutions are complete, competitive, and aligned with customer expectations.
- Represent ERTMS expertise in pre‑contract phases, supporting commercial success.
