Gradiant is seeking exceptional researchers who hold a PhD (with no more than 8 years of full-time equivalent research experience) and are interested in pursuing a research project within its team, in the framework of the Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships 2025.
About Gradiant Gradiant (GRAD) is a private Research and Technology Organization (RTO) based in Vigo, Spain, with strong foundations in telecommunications and related ICT disciplines.
GRAD aims to improve the competitiveness of companies through transfer of knowledge in connectivity, intelligence, and security.
Over the last 17 years, GRAD has developed more than 340 R&D projects, including over 45 European projects, becoming a key driver of technological innovation in Galicia (Spain).
GRADIANT is supported by a board including representatives from the three Galician universities (Vigo, Santiago, and A Coruña) and companies such as Abanca, Altia, Arteixo Telecom, Egatel, Indra, Plexus, R, Telefónica, Televés, and INEO business association.
The organization has achieved ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/IEC 27001 certifications for quality and information security management systems.
As an advanced R&D center, GRADIANT has expertise in AI, with over 30 publications in the last 5 years in relevant journals and conferences.
It has contributed to international projects involving AI payloads for autonomous aircraft, FPGA deployment, manufacturing, multivariate time-series analysis, and Natural Language Processing.
GRADIANT's technical areas include:
The Intelligent Systems area: Machine Learning, AI, and Big Data for various applications, especially multi-sensor data in manufacturing, health, or agriculture. The Multimodal Information area: Deep Learning for image and audio processing, including object detection, document forgery detection, and UAS navigation. The Advanced Communications area: Wireless systems, 5G/6G, satellite tech, signal intelligence, autonomous systems, and quantum technologies.Approximately 90% of staff are Telecommunications Engineers, with 27 holding a PhD in technical fields.
