In Emerging Markets we have the responsibility to help patients in 12 of the top 15 most populated countries in the world. Our Digital Engagement Manager will be key to help us maximize our reach and presence across these countries.
We are seeking our new Digital Engagement Manager, who will lead the digital engagement strategy for emerging markets (Brazil, Mexico, South Korea, UAE, Australia/New Zealand) and markets where we operate through partners. You will be the bridge between Global and local teams; driving patient activation, HCP engagement; delivering measurable value; and taking ownership of cross-market digital initiatives that create lasting impact and drive speed, compliance, and adoption. You will also be specially involved in selected OTC products where digital can create outsized value, ensuring compliance, speed, and adoption.
Your Role In Key Responsibilities
* Co-Create Digital Brand Content: Collaborate with global and local teams to develop and implement market-leading digital brand content strategies.
* Align Strategy: Ensure alignment between Emerging Markets’ multichannel marketing (MCM) strategies and global digital engagement plans, maximizing integration and execution.
* Own the Digital Roadmap: Design and execute the Emerging Markets digital strategy, defining KPI frameworks, governance models, and execution timelines.
* Patient & HCP Engagement: Lead impactful digital initiatives to activate patients and engage healthcare professionals (e.g., marketing automation, content creation, and journey mapping).
* Liaison & Influence: Serve as the link to Global teams to identify, adapt, and roll out relevant materials, initiatives, and best practices with measurable outcomes.
* Upskill & Inspire Teams: Raise the bar for digital and commercial capabilities of country brand teams via knowledge sharing and training.
* Identify Opportunities: Scout cross-market digital opportunities and lead large‑scale projects from concept to execution.
* Technical Translator: Act as an interface between technical and marketing teams to translate business needs into actionable digital requirements.
* Lead Digital for OTC Brands: Develop and execute targeted marketing initiatives for OTC products using digital‑first strategies (e‑commerce, performance marketing, marketplaces).
* Compliance Champion: Drive adherence to compliance standards (Veeva CRM, PromoMats, GDPR, etc.) while ensuring fast and effective execution.
* Measure & Optimize Impact: Establish dashboards, track metrics, and deliver insights to drive actionable business outcomes.
* Foster Innovation: Install a culture of agility, continuous testing, piloting with A/B test, and scaling of best practices across markets.
Your Profile
* Strong Pharma Digital Expertise: Experience in pharmaceutical marketing and digital engagement, with a deep understanding of compliance, business acumen and knowledge of the healthcare digital ecosystem (telehealth, teleconsultation, Disease Awareness Website)
* Technical Savvy: Proficiency with platforms like Sitecore, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, webinar tools, and Veeva systems. Working knowledge of SEO/SEM, social media, marketing automation, and more.
* Knowledge of Data Privacy: A solid understanding of GDPR, LGPD, and POPIA compliance frameworks.
* E-commerce Expertise: Experience with OTC and performance-driven marketing strategies is a plus.
* Exceptional Project Leader: Proven ability to lead impactful, multi-market digital programs from ideation to implementation.
* Creative & Hands‑On: Adept with tools like Canva and Figma, capable of localizing and adapting materials for different markets.
* Global Communicator: Fluent in English and comfortable working across diverse cultures and multiple time zones.
