Let's get in touchWhat you'll be doingWorking closely with the Head of Internal Audit for Finance and Financial Risks to develop and execute audit reviews in accordance with the internal audit policies, procedures, methodologies, regulatory requirements, and auditing standardsPerforming audit reviews of finance, treasury, and financial risk management to ensure they follow best practises, accounting standards, and regulationsSeeking ways to make the best use of data as part of our audit process, including informing our understanding of risks, testing controls, and providing relevant insights to the businessProviding input and assisting in the identification of relevant risks and regulatory requirements for incorporation as part of our audit scope and work programmesInteracting with staff across all seniority levels to obtain an understanding of relevant risks, controls, and processesScoping, executing, and delivering audit reviews, independently, and as part of a teamHighlighting deficiencies and underlying root causes, providing recommendations to mitigate/address deficiencies while adding value to RevolutConducting research and completing assigned training requirements necessary to maintain and build on your expertise and knowledgeConducting follow-up reviews of deficiencies noted during audit reviewsMonitoring audit progress (against expected timelines, scope etc) and project management to completion, escalating where required in a timely mannerWhat you'll need5+ years of professional experience in an audit related-role within a regulated financial services environmentExperience across one or more of the finance, treasury, and financial risk management processesKnowledge of relevant European and UK regulations and frameworksPractical experience with one of the following: SQL, SAS, Python or RKnowledge of IIA standardsExcellent critical thinking and problem-solving skillsExceptional interpersonal communication skillsNice to haveExperience working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on executionQualifications with ACA, ACCA, CFA, FRMA desire and drive to learn, grow and have impact quickly as part of an expanding team
