We are seeking a Technical Studies Specialist to ensure the accurate preparation of technical bids in accordance with the specific technical requirements of each tender.
Responsibilities include:
* Coordinating the preparation of the technical bid package.
* Studying the tender documents thoroughly to organize the technical bid preparation.
* Developing technical documentation for tenders assigned to the department, ensuring competitiveness.
* Identifying and managing collaboration with various departments, organizing communication, requesting necessary information, and reviewing submitted documentation.
* Ensuring the technical documentation is well-prepared, high quality, and presentable.
* Communicating with the final document responsible regarding deadlines and formats.
* Conducting economic analysis of the bid, including cost studies and comparison of offers, proposing cost savings.
* Submitting cost studies to departmental and engineering managers.
Minimum qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or related fields.
* At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
* Valuable experience in operation or construction of desalination, wastewater treatment, or drinking water plants.
* Previous experience in contractual management in EPC industrial projects, preferably in the water sector.
* High level of English (C1), with intermediate French and Portuguese considered a plus.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Presto, MS Project, AutoCAD, and water cycle knowledge.
* Valuable skills in Biowin, EPANET, and a master's in water cycle management or treatment plant design.
* Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
* Strong communication skills, initiative, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and team leadership skills.
