The Accountant supports the EMEA Accounting Team, responsible for supervising US GAAP books of EMEA Legal Entities and preparing and delivering Statutory Books in compliance with local and corporate policies.The Accounting Team plays a key role in delivering controllership activities related to Legal Entities, including Financial Accounting, Reporting, and Internal Controls. It also supports business and accounting teams with accounting matters, serving as the center of expertise.ResponsibilitiesYou will be involved in the following tasks :
Payroll AccountingReview payroll outputs, investigate and correct errors, and post payroll data in the Finance systemMaintain payroll-related accrualsPrepare payroll account reconciliations in line with the Global Account Reconciliation PolicyAssist with restructuring programsSupport payroll-related projectsSupport the Accounting Team with analysis of balance sheets and income statements, and prepare and file country-specific Financial Statistics, Income Tax Accruals, and paymentsAssist with external and internal auditsQualificationsWhat you will bring to the team :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or FinanceExperience in accounting and financial reportingExperience with US GAAPPrevious experience in Big4 or multinational companies is a plusBusiness proficiency in English;
knowledge of an additional European language is advantageousProficiency in Microsoft OfficeAdvanced knowledge of SAP is beneficialCore competencies :
