- Digital Solution Implementation: Implementing software development applications, data platforms, Cloud & On-Prem infrastructures, and reporting systems, LowCode applications, etc.
Your Role
Customer Engagement. We are looking to incorporate a Customer Engagement to join our team. As a Customer Engagement, you will be a trusted technical advisor for our strategic clients. Your mission will be to lead digital consulting projects for industrial clients in Iberia, coordinating resources from both the client and Siemens, and ensuring the successful achievement of project objectives. You will specifically focus on the Energy & Utilities sector, acting as a key partner for our clients in this domain.
Responsibilities
- As a Customer Engagement, you will be a trusted technical advisor for our strategic clients, leading digital consulting projects for industrial clients in Iberia. Your mission will be to coordinate resources from both the client and Siemens, ensuring the successful achievement of project objectives. Specifically, for the Power & Utilities sector in Iberia:
- Develop, implement, and drive the sales strategy for Energy & Utilities clients, leveraging Siemens Advanta's portfolio and offerings.
- Identify C-level and lower decision-makers, build strong strategic relationships, and become a trusted partner and advisor for client CXOs and key stakeholders.
- Establish a pipeline and lead sales pursuit teams to engage clients and win strategic deals, driving sales closure, including negotiations for Advanta projects in Energy and Water across Iberia.
- Nurture leads by evaluating opportunities, communicating value propositions, and ensuring timely follow-up.
- Manage sales through forecasting, qualification, account strategy, cost estimation planning, and the development and negotiation of solution proposals.
- Orchestrate specific value propositions for our clients, considering Advanta's capabilities and partners, as well as the required value selling approach and competitive differentiation.
- In collaboration with other Siemens businesses, support the development and implementation of new services and solutions for a winning IoT offering.
- You will be responsible for 3-4 key clients in the Power and Water Utilities sector.
- Foster coordination within the regional organization and act as a role model for Siemens Advanta's values: Dare to Dream, Love Our Clients, Team Wins, Enjoy the Journey.
Your Offerings
- Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related fields.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Industry with technological expertise in automation and industrial digitalization.
- 3-5 years of experience in project management or Customer Engagement roles.
- Proven experience in professional services focused on consulting, service, and/or solutions, in a system integration environment with an energy focus; distribution and transmission system operators, water utilities, and power generation companies.
- Experience in OT & IT integration projects for industrial clients.
- Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Existing customer relationships and networks in energy and utility companies.
- Domain knowledge of assets, systems, and processes in power or water utilities and the energy industry to develop industry-specific proposals and use cases.
- Understanding of the technology stack, including IoT architecture, edge devices, sensors, hardware, security, IT, OT, and AI, especially in the energy domain. Experience in cloud environments.
- Understanding of the customer journey: anticipating digital transformation and proactively developing solutions with ecosystem partners.
- Ability to present at C-level or board level and build informal professional networks across seniority levels.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and drive to build something new under uncertainty.
- Language: Advanced English (oral and written). Fluency in Spanish and English or other languages is a plus.
- Availability: Willingness to travel.
- Valued: Experience in energy and infrastructure projects.
