As a member of the development team you will:
* Design and lead integration architectures based on IBM DataPower Gateway.
* Develop and deploy security, transformation, and message routing policies (XML, XSLT, JSON).
* Implement and manage APIs using IBM API Connect (preferably v5.x or v10).
* Define and enforce security mechanisms such as OAuth2, JWT, SAML, LTPA, and WS-Security.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to performance, security, and connectivity.
* Participate in architecture reviews, design pattern definitions, and technical validation of requirements.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, security, development, infrastructure) to ensure secure and efficient integration solutions.
* Produce high-quality technical documentation, including specifications, architecture diagrams, and operational manuals.
Technical Requirements
* Solid hands-on experience (5+ years recommended) with IBM DataPower Gateway in enterprise environments.
* Advanced knowledge of IBM API Connect (preferably both legacy and latest versions).
* Proficient in REST and SOAP services, XML/JSON structures, and transformation technologies (XSLT, Gateway Script).
* Proven experience implementing integration-layer security controls, including authentication, authorization, and token validation (OAuth, SAML, JWT, LTPA).
* Familiarity with security standards such as WS-Security, TLS, Mutual SSL, and PKI.
* Experience working in CI/CD environments with versioned APIs and automated deployments.
* Scripting capabilities (e.g., Shell, Python) and basic knowledge of DevOps tools are a plus.
Requirements
* Master/ B.A in Computer Engineering or Telecommunications. If not, strong technical know-how is essential.
* Experience with Load Balancer – GTM/LTM
* LAN/WAN/SD-WAN knowledge
* Agile and Waterfall project delivery experience
* Ability to handle challenging stakeholders
* Problem-solving capacity
* Experience with Agile methodologies
