as a
PRODUCT ENGINEER .
**Main Tasks:
**
Analyze customer product specifications and applicable regulations/legislations for your perimeter on the program.Define the product functional analysis based on standards to translate customer specifications and internal requirements into clear product performance criteria. Propose FIS commitments and obtain approval from Product GTS.Agree on the material choice proposed (by T&E;
) to meet mechanical performance requirements.Support the creation and update of the product definition file in Product Data Management (PDM).Provide necessary inputs to the Product Design Engineer to ensure the design meets defined performance;
support PDE regarding specifications and robustness if needed.Participate in design reviews.Create and document product improvement ECRs.Lead KPC identification, valorization, and formalization. Lead DFMEA based on standards.Ensure consistency between GD&T;
(including tolerance stacks) and process feasibility.Lead product validations (DVPhase2, DVPhase3 & PVPhase3);
define, plan, and follow validation processes, including CAE and physical tests. Define necessary product improvements to meet specifications.Validate control plans against key characteristics specified by D&D;
.Define BOP specifications, support Make or Buy decisions, participate in SNC for BOP, and formalize purchase requests for BOP tools and modifications.If applicable, guide and manage development work done by suppliers.Lead system geometrical conformity assessments, including measurements through geometry centers.Based on simulation, validation, and measurement results, define geometry/interface improvements and mock-up sheets for design enhancement.Communicate ECRs for guidelines/best practices to D&D;
Team Leader / GTS.Support PDL in achieving quality, cost, and delivery targets.Define engineering levels for plant launch.Report program-specific data (DVPh2, DVPh3, PVPh3, Geometry Dft, Dim Conf.) to PDL.Support PPDR and contribute to achieving Faurecia Engineering and Customer Program Milestones.At program end, prepare capitalization documents for standards and guidelines improvements.
**Requirements:
**Knowledge of interior plastic parts design and processes.Minimum 2 years of proven experience in design and development within an industrial environment, preferably automotive interior.High level of English;
customer’s language skills strongly preferred.Good team player with strong written and oral communication skills.Ability to work in a multicultural environment.High availability to travel.
