JOB OVERVIEW
Identify and leverage media opportunities to enhance the visibility of the company’s business milestones and achievements. The role focuses on amplifying the company’s impact across national and international media outlets, including major publications and industry-specific platforms, to strengthen the company’s public presence and brand image.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
* Media relations: Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, and media outlets, managing both proactive and reactive interactions with the media at national and international levels.
* Press releases: Distribute press releases and other media content, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of information.
* Media inquiries: Handle media inquiries and coordinate interviews with company representatives in alignment with the Media Director’s guidance.
* Event management: Organize press conferences and other media events to support the company’s communications strategy.
* Monitoring: Track media coverage and analyse its impact on the company’s public image, including monitoring efforts across different countries and agencies as directed by the Media Director.
* Content support: Assist in developing talking points, key messages, and Q&A documents. Help diversify content through various narratives and spokespeople. Support the Director in drafting briefings, dossiers, and press releases, attending media meetings, and managing press requests.
* Data analysis and management: Identify information opportunities based on KPIs and work to increase positive and neutral media impact through performance-based communication measurement.
* Coordination of external partners: Oversee the activities of external partners and manage the flow of information to ensure consistent messaging.
* Media agenda deployment: Adapt business developments and media milestones to support the deployment of an effective media agenda.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education
* Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
Relevant Experience:
* Experience in journalism, communications, or public relations with a focus on managing media relations.
* Background in analyzing media impact and managing content distribution to increase brand visibility.
Languages
* English - Must-have (Advanced)
* Spanish - Valuable (Advanced)
* Any other Cellnex language - Valuable (Intermediate)
Software Tools
* Microsoft Office Tools - Must-have (Advanced)
* Media monitoring tools (e.g., Meltwater, Cision) - Valuable (Intermediate)
Other Relevant Aspects
* Proficient writing skills, with fluency in both Spanish and English.
* Strong communication and storytelling abilities to craft engaging and effective narratives.
* Proactive approach to identifying media opportunities and managing press interactions.
