The position entails the following tasks:
Deal execution, client coverage, and coordination with other métiers to develop cross-selling activities in the LTFG / SFI area in Spain and Portugal.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Execution of structured financing transactions: Analysis of available information, including vendor and buyer DD reports.
2. Elaboration of all internal credit documentation: Complex financial modeling, credit application, rating assessment, and PI calculation.
3. Preparation of all internal requirements to close the transaction, including validation of rating and Phidias, management of KYC process, and submission of front sheet and WRM Memo, if required.
4. Help on the negotiation of legal documentation: Term Sheet, SFA, ICA, Fee Letter, etc.
5. Follow-up of closed transactions: Analyze periodic financial information; prepare all internal credit follow-up processes, including internal notes to review the performance of the company, rating assessment, Phidias, and profitability calculation.
6. Start interaction with clients at junior level.
7. Perform debt capacity analysis and produce pitches.
8. Screen potential transactions and review relevant company information.
9. Liaise with other departments, especially DOD, HYCM, GIB, Ratings, and IRS, to generate cross-selling opportunities.
Knowledge needed:
* General knowledge of national and international economy and finance.
* In-depth knowledge of available debt instruments (recourse and non-recourse).
* Advanced skills for risk identification, analysis, and mitigation alternatives.
Qualifications / Education Required:
* Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Engineering.
* Solid academic results required.
* Fluent in Spanish and English.
Experience Required:
* Strong background in structuring financing transactions.
* Experience with leveraged finance structuring features.
* Experienced command of financial modeling.
* High proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Solid financing and analytical skills, including accounting principles, valuation principles, financial statement consolidation, and legal background.
Hard worker and team player with high communication skills, both verbal and written.
