THE ROLE:
As Finance Manager Iberia, you will be the financial backbone of our Iberian Shared Service Hub — overseeing multi-entity reporting, cost discipline, intercompany governance, and unit economics across our retail and F&B brands. You will work closely with the Country Manager and functional leads, acting as a true commercial business partner.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who is equally comfortable building financial models and presenting results to senior international stakeholders.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Financial Reporting & Control
* Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements across all Iberian entities
* Deliver accurate brand P&L reports, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to global and local leadership
* Lead year-end audits and manage a tight monthly close process
* Establish and maintain robust internal controls
Intercompany & Hub Governance
* Design and oversee intercompany billing, cost-allocation keys, and transfer pricing compliance
* Standardise accounting workflows and month-end closing timelines across the hub
Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning
* Own the annual budget and quarterly forecasting cycle in partnership with all functional heads
* Develop financial models for new store business cases, capex proposals, and investment decisions
* Deliver variance analysis (actuals vs. budget/forecast) with actionable commentary
Cost Control & Margin Management
* Build and operate a rigorous cost control framework: COGS, labour, occupancy, and overheads
* Track daily/weekly store-level KPIs (revenue, covers, ATV, food cost %) for rapid decision-making
* Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, and HR on margin improvement
Treasury & Cash Management
* Manage cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and working capital optimization
* Oversee accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely supplier payments
Tax, Compliance & Regulatory
* Ensure full compliance with Spanish and Portuguese tax obligations (corporate tax, VAT, IRPF)
* Coordinate with external tax advisors on transfer pricing and intra-group management fees
* Maintain compliance with NIIF-UE / IFRS standards and evolving EU financial regulations
Team Leadership & Business Partnering
* Build and develop the Iberia finance team with clear accountability and growth pathways
* Present financial results, forecasts, and investment proposals to non-finance stakeholders with clarity and confidence
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
* 8+ years of finance experience, with meaningful exposure to F&B, retail, or multi-unit hospitality
* Big 4 accounting firm background preferred
* Strong expertise in store-level P&L management, cost accounting, and COGS analysis
* Deep knowledge of Spanish xkdbapo (and ideally Portuguese) tax law, statutory reporting, and European accounting standards
* Proven experience in month-end close, financial reporting, and audit coordination
* Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and advanced Excel/financial modelling
* Bilingual in Spanish and English (written and spoken) — Portuguese is a strong plus
* High integrity, precision, and the ability to operate effectively under pressure
