Turn complex satellite data into insights that change how we see the world. At SATLANTIS, we design advanced optical and space technologies to help solve global challenges from above. From our headquarters in Leioa (Bizkaia, Spain), we lead innovation in high-resolution imaging systems and data processing for Earth observation and space missions.
We’re now offering an opportunity to join our Image Processing team as an Image Processing Developer, where you’ll take part in developing advanced algorithms and solutions that bring meaning and precision to satellite imagery.
What’s in it for you
Challenging projects: Collaborate with experts in optics, software, and data analysis while leading projects that shape the future of space imaging.
Flexible working hours: Private health insurance: Your wellbeing matters, supported by comprehensive healthcare coverage.
As an Image Processing Developer, your purpose will be to design, implement, and optimize algorithms that transform raw satellite data into accurate, actionable information. Designing, developing, and optimizing image processing algorithms for satellite data analysis and simulation.
Implementing radiometric, geometric, and multiband alignment corrections to enhance image quality and consistency.
Validating and verifying algorithms with real mission data to ensure accuracy, robustness, and operational performance.
You bring at least 2–3 years of hands-on experience developing image processing solutions, with strong proficiency in Python and libraries such as OpenCV, NumPy, SciPy, TensorFlow/PyTorch, or equivalent.
You’re able to translate complex data challenges into effective technical solutions that deliver measurable results.
Knowledge of satellite or geospatial data: Familiarity with remote sensing principles, calibration methods, or sensor modeling will help you contribute from day one.
You thrive in multidisciplinary and international environments, communicating fluently in English and Spanish to build strong technical and human connections.
You continuously seek new approaches, optimize performance, and challenge the status quo to push innovation forward.
If you’re driven by the challenge of transforming satellite data into knowledge, enjoy solving complex image processing problems, and want to contribute to cutting-edge optical technology that impacts the world, apply now and join SATLANTIS’ mission to advance the future of space imaging.
