In this role you will lead and optimize manufacturing processes across machining, assembly, and testing to improve quality, cost, and delivery using Lean and Six Sigma. You will support production, manage capital equipment projects, and ensure tooling, CNC programs, and safety, environmental policies meet goals. You will collaborate with supervision to achieve Flowserve objectives and drive throughput improvements. This is a hands-on role with cross-functional impact, shaping manufacturing methods and strategic plans.

• Plan, direct, and coordinate manufacturing processes including machining, assembly, and testing.
• Develop and improve manufacturing methods using product design knowledge, materials, tooling, and fabrication processes.
• Lead Lean/Six Sigma-based improvements to quality, cost, and delivery.
• Provide engineering support in production; troubleshoot technical issues.
• Evaluate and justify capital equipment proposals; manage requests for expenditure; track progress within budget.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Supervisors to meet Flowserve goals; ensure CNC programs support new products and customer requirements.
• Ensure tooling, fixtures, and process readiness to meet demand; train operators in CNC programming and tooling.
• Maintain safety and environmental compliance; enforce OSHA and environmental policies; manage subcontractors accordingly.
• Monitor and report on capital projects; seek innovative solutions to improve throughput and quality.
• Stay updated on advances in machine tool technology; develop recommendations where feasible to improve processes.
• Demonstrate teamwork and respect in interactions; perform other duties as assigned.
Responsabilidades
• Proven track record of leading cost-reduction initiatives in manufacturing via Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read safety rules, engineering drawings, operating instructions, and procedures.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective public speaking to groups of customers or employees.
• Strong analytical abilities: geometry, trigonometry, algebra, and statistics.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

• BS or BA Degree in relevant field and/or 0-2 years relevant experience.
