Role: Corporate Financial ControllerSector: IndustrialJob Type: Full-TimeSalary Range: €****** - €******Location: Barcelona (hybrid)About the roleWe are looking for a Corporate Controller to join the finance team of an international industrial group in Barcelona.In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Controlling and work closely with the Finance Director.
You will be responsible for monthly financial reporting to the Group HQ in Europe, ensuring that financial statements, KPIs and business information are accurate, consistent and delivered on time.You will work with consolidation and reporting tools such as Tagetik, support IFRS reporting, manage IFRS 16 lease reporting through Planon, and help improve the quality and efficiency of financial processes.This is a hands-on role with strong exposure to Group reporting, budgeting, forecasting, Capex follow-up, financial integration of acquired companies, and business cases for strategic decisions.Key responsibilitiesPrepare monthly financial reporting to Group HQ, including financial statements and financial/non-financial KPIsEnsure reporting is completed under IFRS GAAP and aligned with local accounting standardsManage IFRS 16 lease reporting, including contract updates, changes and reporting impactsMaintain and improve reporting processes in TagetikBuild and update financial models and dashboards in Power BI.Support the annual budget and recurring forecast process.Contribute to Capex reporting and investment tracking.Support business cases, ROI analysis and feasibility studies for new openings.Help integrate newly acquired companies into Group reporting standards.Prepare executive presentations for Group HQ.Identify opportunities to improve, automate and simplify finance and reporting processes.What we are looking forDegree in Business Administration, Economics, Management, Finance or similarAt least 3 years of experience in financial audit, controlling or financial reportingAdvanced EnglishStrong Excel skills and good analytical abilityKnowledge of IFRS, especially IFRS 16Experience with consolidation tools such as Tagetik will be highly valuedExperience with lease management tools such as Planon will be a plusPower BI knowledge will be valuedInterest in using AI tools in finance to improve reporting quality, automation and efficiencyAbility to work with different information systems and adapt quicklyProactive mindset, attention to detail and strong focus on continuous improvement.Email: ******
