JOB PURPOSE
Drive innovation and lead our business to new heights by spearheading the Digital Supply Chain (DSC) team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Be a part of the Digital Supply Chain (DSC) team, a new team of 40+ FTE that will be pivotal in the Ice Cream Company’s ambition to be a Digital First company.
You will manage requirement gathering, design, and coordinate the development of data and analytical products for SC Make and Engineering, supporting operational and financial performance improvements
You will be responsible for developing financial and operational performance analytics products for our manufacturing units (Manufacturing, Engineering, SSHE).
You will support our ambition to leverage real time process data and AI to advance our journey toward data-driven, autonomous decisionmaking. You will assess and build analytical capabilities based on your deep knowledge of SC Make, Engineering, and IT (including available data, datalake structures, solution integration, D&A capabilities, S4 HANA, etc.).
You will partner with Manufacturing Excellence, the Sourcing Units Engineering team, and Supply Chain Finance to build the right digital products. While project execution will typically be carried out by the IT team, in some cases you will leverage your knowledge of the datalake structure, data availability, SC Engineering requirements, and your foundational dataengineering skills to build solutions yourself.
As part of Ice Cream’s transition to a standalone company, you will help identify, migrate, and, where necessary, rebuild existing SC Engineering systems and manufacturing execution systems. In collaboration with the Reporting team, you will also ensure that all SC Engineering reports are properly migrated and reconstructed.
Based on your end-to-end overview of SC Engineering technology and based on strong knowledge of both IT systems and industry state-of-the-art, you will collaborate with SC Engineering business teams and Excellence teams to continuously bring improvements to the Ice Cream Company’s SC Make, Engineering capabilities.
You will help give the DSC Make Tech team a strong identity and make it top-of-mind for all in SC (both global and regional/local) as the team to contact for all Make technology requests.
SKILLS
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise between IT, SC business, and SC leadership.
Proficiency in managing complex projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
You have excellent knowledge of SC manufacturing, operational reporting, process engineering, finance as well as good understanding of data lake structures, SAP tables, transactions and basic data engineering and general supply chain knowledge to ensure efficient throughput of projects.
Basic knowledge of IT-OT interfaces in factories.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex supply chain challenges.
Ability to identify and implement innovative solutions to improve supply chain reporting processes.
Ability to thrive in a team environment.
EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a reporting or data analysis role within supply chain or digital lead in factory environment for continuous process improvement.
Experience to build analytical products, AI use cases, or KPI reporting for performance management in factory environment using data from SAP, and digital factory applications.
Proven experience with digital supply chain technologies and data management.
Demonstrated success in supporting large-scale digital projects and cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of supply chain best practices and emerging trends (e.g., AI, IoT).
