**Education and qualifications**:
**Required**:
- A university degree or equivalent postgraduate qualification in the field of health sciences (biomedicine, pharmacy, biochemistry, medicine, or biology), recognised by the Spanish Ministry of Education or the relevant authority.
- Specialist training through the MIR system in neurology or another specialty.
- Fluency in English
**Experience and knowledge**:
**Required**:
- Minimum experience in laboratory research as part of their undergraduate programme.
- Experience using the Microsoft Office suite (including Excel, Word, etc.).
- Knowledge of statistics and experience with statistical software packages.
- Strong sense of responsibility, initiative, self-motivation, and teamwork skills.
**Desired**:
- Excellent academic records.
- Scientific publications in indexed journals.
- Conference abstracts presented at international congresses
**Main responsibilities and duties**:
- Cell manipulation in human in vitro cultures (generation of human oligodendrocytes and neurones, generation of iPSC-derived microglia, etc.).
- Purification of antibodies from human serum.
- Flow cytometry handling.
- Immunohistochemistry.
- Management of cytokine platforms (ELISA, ELLA system, etc.).
- Organization of follow-up meetings with supervisors.
- Drafting of abstracts for conferences and scientific articles.
- On-site work ( 80%).
- Absolute respect towards supervisors, colleagues, staff, fellow students, and patients
