Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Packaging Buyer to join our Procurement team in Barcelona. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing different packaging categories, ensuring the highest quality and cost-efficiency.
Mission:
Our mission is to ensure the highest quality and cost-efficiency in sourcing products across Europe. As a Packaging Buyer, you will play a crucial role in our Procurement team, driving strategic procurement initiatives, fostering strong supplier relationships, and maintaining compliance with industry standards. Your expertise in contract management and SAP procurement flow will be instrumental in supporting our operations and contributing to our overall success. Together, we aim to deliver exceptional value to our stakeholders and uphold our commitment to excellence in every aspect of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement and contribute to developing procurement strategies for different packaging categories.
* Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the best deals.
* Monitor market trends and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and quality requirements.
* Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and manage inventory levels, quality, sustainability, and innovation.
* Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
* Manage contracts and oversee SAP procurement flow.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Economics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a buyer, ideally within the FMCG or other fast-paced industry (3+ years of experience).
* Strong negotiation and communication skills.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; SAP knowledge is desirable.
* Fluency in English (French, Spanish, German, Italian as a plus, not mandatory).
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
