Overview
The purpose of the Tamalpais Review Board (TDRB) is to serve as an advisory and resource body, liaising with the Board of Supervisors, the Community Development Agency, the Planning Commission, and the community. The TDRB reviews and comments on discretionary land use and zoning applications, as well as community plan amendments within the Tamalpais Planning Area, which includes Tamalpais Valley, Homestead Valley, Almonte, Muir Woods Park, and Tennessee Valley.
Membership
* All members must reside within the Planning Area. A non-resident Architect with special expertise, recommended by the TDRB, may serve—only one non-resident Architect at a time.
* Efforts should be made to include members representing diverse neighborhoods and disciplines such as Architect, Construction/Design Professional, Real Estate Agent/Broker, Landscape Architect/Designer/Contractor, Engineer, and Merchant/Business Owner within the Planning Area.
Terms and Number of Members
Members serve 3-year, staggered terms. The Board consists of five members.
Stipend Information
Starting October 1, 2022, stipends are available for members who certify household income below the County self-sufficiency standard. For application details, visit the Board Stipends Program webpage.
Meeting Schedule
