Role Summary: Providing technical support to Field Engineers for all on-the-day activities, Ericsson Nodes 2G/3G/4G/5G integrations of new BB and various upgrades of existing sites. Ensuring the quality of completing the activities is meeting expected standards calls/post-performance checks. Key Responsibilities: Performing remote configuration expansions as well as new site integrations of 2G, 3G, 4G & 5G for Ericsson sites Generating the scripts & validating the same for integration Having experience in Ericsson BB6630 / BB6648 /RP6631 / RP 6651 integration & troubleshooting Configuration of RU/RRU/AIR Radio’s Should have an experience in DUW / DUG / DUS / DUL Should have experience in Swap activity Carrier addition/sector addition / Technology addition / Site Modernisation Configuration of Mixed Mode Radio’s, GPS, ENDC Communication and synchronization between Back-office and Field Force assist in troubleshooting installation/integration problems. Configurations of External Alarms, RET, Neighbor Coordinating with field engineer for Integration & Troubleshooting Support to Field Engineer for External Alarms and Acceptance Test, RET Troubleshooting, call tests Cell & Parameter configurations in BSC/RNC Software, License Upgrade through ENM Need to perform Configuration, Performance & Fault Management. Coordinating with Multiple stakeholders for resolving the TXN issue, RF related issues. Coordinating with Planning & design team to resolve the design related issues
Tools & Systems Knowledge: Ericsson ENM Winfiol/Secure CRT / WinSCP/Putty
Must have technical/professional qualifications: Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in Telecommunications Engineering with experience in a managerial/supervisor knowledge Graduation in Telecommunications/Electronics Proficient in MS Office Suite Proficient in reading, writing & speaking of English Language. French is a plus.
