We are seeking a skilled Battery electrical components specialist to join our dynamic team located in Valladolid.
Responsibilities
* Develop electrical components for Lithium‑Ion batteries, acquiring and building knowledge of components such as busbars, junction boxes, fuses, relays, pyroswitches, smart current sensors, and more.
* Manage the development of components from upstream scoping phases to industrialization phases.
* Dimension components and write generic specifications.
* Define validation plans and core competencies rules, and set technical policies and standards for your scope.
* Lead component design reviews throughout the development phase.
* Evaluate and select new technologies through technology watch, competition analysis, benchmarks, and state‑of‑the‑art studies.
Qualifications
* Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a general engineering degree with specialization in electronics.
* Hands‑on experience in electrical engineering, electronics, or electromechanics, preferably in the field of energy storage.
* Knowledge of the development life‑cycle of electrical or electronic components in the automotive sector.
* Knowledge of electrotechnical and electromechanical components.
* Strong rigor, organization, and ability to respect process requirements and schedules.
* Excellent teamwork skills and ability to work in an international, multicultural environment (English spoken and written).
* Strong synthesis skills to produce and present progress reports and technical analyses.
* Spanish and English are mandatory; knowledge of French is desirable.
* Availability to travel frequently (≈20 % of time) to client facilities.
