Your work will define the architecture, scalability, reliability, and user experience of the entire product. /p pb Why this role matters? /b /pp You won’t be “one more engineer.” /pp You will become the b engineering backbone /b of a product used daily by thousands of employees across Slack, Teams, Google Chat, web, and mobile. /p p You will own systems that manage: /pulli Daily culture data pipelines /lili Advanced Pulse Recognition analytics /lili AI agents (KAI) with dynamic contexts /lili Multi-channel notification infrastructure /lili Our full React + Node.js + MongoDB platform /lili Integrations with Microsoft, Google, Slack, HRIS, and more /li /ul p This is a rocket ship moment. /pp We need someone who wants to build the engine. /p pb What you#39;ll own /b /pp Engineering: /pulli Build new features end-to-end across b Node.js, Express, MongoDB, React.js and Tailwind /b. /lili Strengthen and scale our architecture (microservices, queues, workers, caching, WIF, vector search). /lili Ship high-quality code with tests (Jest/Mocha), monitoring, and clean documentation. /lili Contribute to platform performance: caching, job schedulers, queue management (BullMQ), DB indexing. /li /ul p AI + Integrations: /pulli Implement and improve our OpenAI-based conversational agent and vector search RAG pipeline. /lili Build integrations with Slack, Teams, Google Chat, and HR systems (Factorial, Personio, BambooHR, etc.). /li /ul p Product Ownership: /pulli Work directly with the Founding team. /lili Participate in decisions about architecture, product roadmap, and prioritization. /lili Bring a mindset of shipping fast, learning constantly, and raising the bar. /li /ul pb What we#39;re looking for /b /pp Must-haves: /pulli Solid experience building b full-stack apps /b (3–6+ years). /lili Expert-level in b Node.js/Express /b, b MongoDB /b, b React.js /b, b TypeScript /b is a plus. /lili Experience with queues (BullMQ), background jobs, async processing. /lili Comfortable designing MongoDB schemas optimized aggregations. /lili Understanding of security best practices (JWT, OAuth, WIF, CSP). /lili High ownership: you think in terms of outcomes, not tickets. /lili Startup energy: fast iterations, clean code, no drama. /li /ul p Nice-to-haves: /pulli Experience with OpenAI API / embeddings / RAG pipelines. /lili Experience with Slack, MS Teams or Google Chat bots. /lili iOS (Swift) exposure is a plus (not required). /lili Infrastructure basics: Heroku, Vercel, Redis, GitHub Actions. /lili Strong product intuition and user empathy. /li /ul pb What we offer /b /pp You will build systems from scratch and influence the entire architecture. /p p No bureaucracy.
