Role Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll work on building and supporting key infrastructure across multiple trading systems and exchange integrations. This is a hands-on backend role for engineers who love solving tough problems, writing robust code, and improving system reliability at scale. Your work will directly impact uptime, trading speed, and system resilience.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain interfaces to a wide range of crypto exchanges
* Monitor and optimise system uptime, performance, and error recovery
* Analyse and debug existing backend scripts and services
* Improve infrastructure through new monitoring and automation tools
* Ensure systems run reliably and efficiently across all trading environments
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in backend software engineering (e.g. C++,C#, Java, .NET, Go)
* Strong track record of working on complex, logic-heavy backend systems
* Proficiency in programming concepts and multiple backend languages
* Solid experience with Python, Rust, or similar performance-oriented tools
* Strong debugging and optimisation skills
* High personal ownership and a proactive mindset
* Excellent attention to detail and a desire to build resilient systems
Bonus Points
* Experience in fintech, hedge funds, or trading firms
* Familiarity with crypto / blockchain systems
* Understanding of algorithms, machine learning, or financial engineering
* Olympiad results in STEM fields (Math, Physics, Informatics, etc.)
