About the Opportunity
We are looking for an IT Category Manager to join an international procurement team and play a key role in shaping the future of indirect procurement across EMEA.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys combining category ownership, stakeholder management and strategic sourcing within complex international environments. You will be joining a team in transformation, with the chance to help define ways of working, strengthen supplier ecosystems and contribute to a more mature global procurement organization.
Your impact
In this role, you will:
Own and develop procurement strategies across IT and selected indirect categories within EMEA.
Drive strategic sourcing initiatives from opportunity assessment through supplier selection and implementation.
Manage and optimize the IT supplier landscape, identifying opportunities around consolidation, governance and long-term value creation.
Lead complex RFI/RFP/RFQ and contract negotiation processes.
Partner closely with stakeholders across IT, Finance, HR, Legal and business functions to understand needs and shape sourcing solutions.
Build strong supplier relationships while monitoring market trends, risks and innovation opportunities.
Contribute to procurement transformation initiatives and support the development of best practices and new ways of working.
What we are looking for
Experience within Indirect Procurement, Strategic Sourcing or IT Category Management environments.
Exposure to categories such as Software, SaaS, Cloud, IT Services, Telecom or Technology Vendors.
Experience owning category strategies and working beyond transactional purchasing activities.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing capabilities in international or matrix organizations.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with a pragmatic, hands-on approach.
Curiosity, adaptability and motivation to contribute within evolving environments.
