The Robotics Delivery and Packaging Innovation (RDPI) team owns Amazon's packaging automation strategy, delivering technologies that improve customer experience and Amazon's cost to serve. The RDPI finance team is seeking an analytical, driven, and creative finance leader to support the Packaging Automation Organization, which designs and implements automation solutions for packaging across Amazon's Operations.

This position will partner with several teams to design and implement solutions to scale the program across new platforms, networks, and products, while ensuring the financial controls are in place to measure the end-to-end impact on Amazon's cost to serve. When not dedicated to forecasting or monthly financial reporting activities, the role spends time looking for opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy, financial controls, data quality, and cost modeling. It is an exciting role for someone who enjoys influencing both strategy and tactical execution and has a passion for innovation and scale.
Key Responsibilities
* Partnering with senior leaders in Worldwide Operations and WW Ops Finance.
* Creating, improving, and maintaining financial analysis (ROI and NPV models) driving operational decisions across WW Operations Fulfillment network.
* Gathering analytical insights and developing financial frameworks to help grow profitability and expand our reach in global environment.
* Driving the core financial processes for the business including Annual Operating Plans, 3 year Strategic Plan, Long Range Plan and Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews.
* Completing cost/benefit analyses and communicating key drivers/inputs to support business decisions.
* Performing financial reporting, deep project analyses, and financial modeling.
* Facilitating financial review meetings with business groups and working with business managers to ensure effective finance and cost management.
* Creating, improving, and maintaining financial metrics, reports and scorecards.
* Communicating financial and business results including variance analyses to senior business leaders.
* Leading strategic projects.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science).
* 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience.
Preferred Qualifications
* MBA.
* 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience.
* Knowledge of SQL/ETL.
* Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results.

Salary ranges: USA, MA, N.Reading – 95,400.00 – 163,200.00 USD annually. USA, TN, Nashville – 85,900.00 – 146,900.00 USD annually. USA, WA, Bellevue – 95,400.00 – 163,200.00 USD annually. USA, WA, Seattle – 95,400.00 – 163,200.00 USD annually.
