Head of Sales for ECOPET Europa – Catalonia
We’re looking for an experienced Head of Sales with a background in plastic recycling to help us grow sustainably in one of Europe’s most dynamic regions.
Our Products:
We manufacture food-grade plastic packaging using partially recycled materials, both with and without absorbent pads, specifically designed for the meat industry. We also produce film for thermoforming trays, giving us a fully integrated, closed-loop production cycle.
Our sales include clients in Portugal and South America.
Develop and implement the company’s strategic B2B PET-packaging sales plan across Spain and international markets (Portugal, South America, etc.)
- Lead the entire sales function and manage a team of Sales Managers, setting KPIs and driving performance
- Define commercial policy and pricing strategy for food-grade PET packaging
- Identify and develop key accounts in retail, distribution, and food production sectors
- Conduct high-level contract negotiations and close strategic deals
- Analyse market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor landscape to proactively adapt the sales approach
- Ensure close coordination between sales, production, and logistics teams to align supply with demand
- Oversee CRM, budgeting, sales forecasting, and reporting processes
- Fluent Spanish (English B2 lever desirable, Catalan is considered an adgantage)
Minimum 3–5 years in a senior B2B sales leadership role, desirably in plastic or PET packaging for the food sector
Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies and building effective sales teams
Knowledge of working with key retail chains, distributors, and food manufacturers
Experience in conducting negotiations at the executive level
Familiarity with pricing, contract negotiation, logistics and commercial forecasting
